Why we love this wine

  • Grapes & Terroir

    Silty loam over free-draining gravels. Standard vertical trellis.

  • Winemaking

    The grapes were hand-picked on a cool Autumn morning. The juice was held on skins for 2 hours in the press before pressing off. The juice was then settled for 48 hours before racking to another tank and inoculated with a selected yeast strain. The juice was fermented at a low temperature to retain fruitfulness. After ferment, the wine was held on its yeast lees for 2 months before bottling.

  • Tasting

    Colour: vibrant orange-pink. Nose: lifted red fruits, such as strawberry and raspberry on the nose, with a hint of Herbs de Provence adding complexity. Palate: watermelon and wild strawberry notes with a hint of creaming soda. The palate is crisp with a lingering dry finish.
