Grapes & Terroir
The Sebaste family estate vineyards are located in Alba and Diano d’Alba villages. -
Winemaking
8-10 days in steel tanks with carefully controlled temperature. Ageing: After malolactic fermentation, the wine is aged for 12- 14 months in new French oak of 400 litres. Bottling takes place after the necessary fining in barrel; at least 3 months before release. -
Tasting
Intense, ruby red; raspberries, red fruits, delicate yet complex. Dry, well balanced, full bodied. -
Makers Match
The Barbera is a fine match with meat dishes, and wonderful on its own. -
