• Grapes & Terroir

  All of Fontenille’s wines are made using grapes grown on their estate owned vineyards, it’s Lauris vineyards of 35 stunning hectares are tended with the utmost care using certified organic and sustainable practices that ensure the highest quality grapes.
• Winemaking

  Le Domaine de Fontenille's Cuvée Alphonse wines are something special, with our Makersvine exclusive allocation transported from Provence in temperature controlled shipping. Cuvée wines are blended from specially selected barrels or vats, with Fontenille's Alphonse single varietal fermentation in demi-muids (500 litre barrels, typically used in the Rhône Valley) for the Rosé, and 225 litre oak barrels and concrete vats for the Blanc and Rouge.
• Tasting

  Fermented in 500L oak barrels, this estate bottled rosé is a gorgeous expression of one of the most beautiful areas in Provence. Strawberry, red currant with hints of exotic aromas (jasmine, coco). Silky and delicate taste with lively and fresh finish.
• Makers Match

  We love drinking this rosé with charcuterie, and great with more complex summer dishes, as well as sweeter desserts and goats cheese.
